GreenWB Training Week in Vaasa

Strengthening Green Innovation Through Collaboration: GreenWB Training Week in Vaasa

This week, our consortium partners gathered in Vaasa, Finland, for an inspiring and hands-on training week. Hosted by the University of Vaasa, the training brought together university staff from Albania, Kosovo, and EU partners to deepen our collaboration on setting up Sustainable Living Labs and developing impactful service portfolios.

Throughout the week, participants engaged in practical workshops on WP6, explored leading Living Labs during tours at Technobothnia and VEBIC, and gained valuable insights from local stakeholders including Stormossen, Westenergy, and SF-BioVac. The sessions on green skills, business development, and innovation sustainability were especially beneficial for partner universities working to align their efforts with the European Green Deal and labor market needs.

We thank the University of Vaasa for their warm hospitality and inspiring environment. Their well-established network of Living Labs and commitment to sustainability offered invaluable lessons that our partners will bring home to develop their own green innovation ecosystems.

Together, we’re building bridges between higher education and industry, and shaping a greener future across the Western Balkans and beyond.
