Building Capacity for a Sustainable Economy Through Higher Education
The Sustainable Living Labs for Regional Entrepreneurial Cooperation (GreenWB) continues its implementation by emphasizing the university’s vital role as both an entrepreneur and a promoter of entrepreneurship. Within this framework, the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana (UT) has organized several activities to strengthen both laboratory capacities and human capital, with the aim of enhancing collaboration between the university and the business sector. This approach supports the development of green solutions that respond to real market needs while contributing to long-term environmental goals.
In June 2025, the Faculty of Economy hosted a workshop where the GreenWB project was also presented. The event aimed to share results from various green projects currently being implemented, discuss the challenges of university–entrepreneurship cooperation, and explore new opportunities for collaboration between different green projects.
Through these initiatives, the Faculty of Economy, UT reaffirms its commitment to advancing sustainability, innovation, and entrepreneurship as key drivers of the green economy.
